confessions from a jane of all trades
The journey to creative entrepreneurship was like most things I do - a wild adventure.
I cringed when told to “specialize in one area” at 20 years old. How was I supposed to see all the places, meet all the people, and tell all the stories? It seemed rather limiting.
You see - living creatively, adventuring passionately, and gathering intentionally is my life’s work.
I started my business in 2021 as a way to use my diverse background of experiences to connect the larger picture. To do, see, be more.
My work is filled with variety and color. I write newsletters for foodies. I teach women how to kayak down the river. I write blogs about grief. It’s so cool.
However you’ve found me and however we’ve connected, I’m grateful. Let’s build something beautiful together.

Okay, so this is normally about food. But in my work it applies to my flexibility and roll-with-it attitude. If things don’t work or if things get messy - just pick it up and keep going.

Wherever you’re standing, there you are. It’s vital to stay present, focus on the now, and be fully immersed in the moment. I aim for groundedness and calm in all that I do. Drop all comparisons and only use others as a source of inspiration, not envy.

Keep it simple, stupid. Life is already wildly complicated. Why add more chaos? The client experience is streamlined and efficient with a sense of ease. In the writing and design world, quite often less is more. Keeping things simple allows for a better customer experience and a sustainable pace of business.
